Of Ruminating Lolita

(WC)

A gift had arrived in a thermocole encasing, along with a letter. The diamond-encrusted dial of the watch shone with an intent of apology. The letter said so, in hand-written words; however, starkly with a pallor of no concern at all.

“Lolita,

Leave was denied.
Will try to return next month ...”

She spent that afternoon disconcerted, toying, breaking the encasing into million pieces, globules floating all around, love lost.

“Mister,” she later came to my apartment, “can you help me clean my mess?”

The heavy-seated eyes sought embrace frantically.

Then, unconsciously, she uttered, “Maybe I should set them to fire. It’s easier, swallows everything quickly.”

Cornerstones :  Married Lolita - thermocole - confinement - voyeuristic love.

                       Approx. 100 words.
